Desktop Virtualization

Desktop Virtualization (Some times called as Client Virtualization) as a concept, is software technology that separate a personal computer desktop environment from a physical machine using the client- server- model of computing.

Desktop virtualization can be used with application virtualization and user profile management systems, now termed “user virtualization,” to provide a simple and efficient desktop environment management system. In this mode, all the components of the desktop are virtualized, which allows for a highly flexible and much more secure desktop delivery model. It provides complete desktop disaster recovery strategy as everything is stored and saved in data center, no data is saved in user’s device
